Summary: Sam Puckett is not exactly the girl to get many dates. Sure she is pretty hot and hilarious, but after 10 years away from Seattle and two guys begging at her feet, it's like a teenage vampire/werewolf novel, and it's not even funny!

	It's Not Even Funny

**So, Hi. I got bored and decided to write a fanfic. It's my first one so please don't judge, and please be nice. I am happy to read constructive criticism to make the story Better. Enjoy :)
Oh, and it will be in Sam's POV the whole way through :D****

**Disclaimer: I don't own the characters or anything really :)

You know what's weird, that the Groovy Smoothie has lasted so long. I mean, with the all the health warnings and T-Bo accidentally poking Gibby in the eye with a stick, it's still here brightly lit with its 'unusual' flavours. I walked through the door. It's been ten years since I was last here but it still smells the same, fruit and toilet bleach.
"Oi B-Bo, large Bacon Blitz." T-Bo's son Bob now runs the Groovy Smoothie, and he continued on the tradition of food on sticks, but hey, bacon smoothies made Momma happy. Taking a seat on an uncomfortable, colourful chair I surveyed what had become of my favourite childhood hangouts. No sooner had I spotted a little girl giving a senior guy a wedgie a voice I had been longing to hear rang through my ears "Yo Puckett."
I shot up and looked directly into a set of dreamy, chocolate eyes. I smiled. "Hey Benson, long time no see." And indeed it had been a long time. We spoke on the phone quite often; he was doing well with a job in the Pear Company, (I mean, who didn't expect him not to). I spoke with Carly as well, every night. With a job in politics, (I'm not good with details), and an upper class husband, she was doing well with herself. I had missed her. I missed Freddie. Heck I even missed Gibby, he got a job as a topless model, who would have known!

Freddie took a seat opposite me and the deafening silence made the greeting awkward. Really awkward. All I could do was stare into those brown eyes, his dark hair sat perfectly tousled on his head and his smile showed so much happiness that I too could not help but smile back. I had to say something, something intelligent but not nerdy, something one friend would say to another, something nice. "Nice Weather!"

End file.
